Jennifer Loyless
Jennifer Loyless is the Program Coordinator for The Palm Beach County Public Defender’s Office. In her nine years with the agency she has assisted in the implementation of many programs to assist incarcerated and recently released offenders in hopes of reducing recidivism. These programs include Pawsibilities Unleashed, an initiative that allows inmates sentenced to jail time in Palm Beach County to raise Labrador retrievers to be service dogs for the disabled; and Project REAP Success, a program that helps inmates access social services to assist in making a positive transition from incarceration to freedom.
Jennifer serves as a member of Palm Beach County’s Reentry Task Force, the Criminal Justice Mental Health Substance Abuse Planning Council, Florida Partners in Crisis and the West Palm Beach Criminal Justice Advisory Committee. She is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County and Leadership West Palm Beach and has served on the Board of Directors of The Lord’s Place.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Jennifer began her career as a newspaper reporter. After working in politics as a campaign manager for five years, she began her work at The Public Defender’s Office in 2001.
Jennifer lives in West Palm Beach with her husband, Dave; and their two children Grayson and Avery. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, volunteering and reading. She is a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
